I want to post some collected thoughts I have written down out of a huge collection. Now I hope I can print them so they are easy to read. ***************************************** The timing is God's, the patience is mine. *************************************** Give without looking of gratitude. ************************************* Often extremely depressed people won't answer the phone or open the front door, but they will usually read the mail. ************************************* Let Jesus decide what He wants to talk to me about. ************************************* Wanting God to applaud my good works is ridiculous. ************************************ Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, His love endures forever. --------------Psalms 107.1 ************************************* - a personality sketch of the Spiritual Christian.---Colossions 3:12-17. *************************************** The church is not man's idea, it is God's idea. ************************************* Don't love the church leader more than God. ************************************ I am not to be offended when people remove themselves from activity because of pain, I am to understand and have compassion. (God has given me the truth in this). ************************************ Start asking in prayer, What must I do today? *************************************Read and remember. Betty G

"Turning Points" is a booklet put out by one of my favorite ministers, Dr. David Jeremiah. I decided i would post some Points" from one of his booklets. God created us for a purpose, therefore every part of our life has value in His sight - even the times we wish we could do over. Jesus became like us so that He could sympathize with our needs and become the sacrifice for our sinful nature. He is divinly appointed as our High Priest. Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible. Doubt breeds distress but trust means joy in the long run. God accomplishes great things through imperfect people it is clear who gets the glory! Whatever your imperfections, God's purposes are made all the more glorious through you as you trust in HIm. We don't earn God's ear by our good works. God hears and answers prayer by grace. Don't be afraid to call out to Him when you think you least deserve His help. Guidance is not normally estatic or mystical. It is always ethical and intensely practical. A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. Think of yourself as wearing the invisible threads of love, doing good, meeting needs, showing compassion and friendliness. That's the uniform of the Christian. Prayer. We can tell the Lord how we feel. He listens patiently and understands. And in His own way and time, He will answer. A man may hide God from himself, and yet he cannot hide himself from God. God Loves you. He always has and He always will. REmember, Betty G
