I am clipping used stamps, those that come in such an abundance this time of year, to send them to the wounded veterans. I know it sounds like useless items but they make use of them and all we do is clip them off the used envelopes, put them in a new envelope, address them to Stamps For the Wounded, add a new stamp on the envelope and mail it. They do appreciate them, and surely we don't have any use for them, they are already used. So, as I say every year. Do it. You will "feel good about it". I will add my thanks to the thanks from the veterans, so thank you. The address - STAMPS FOR THE WOUNDED SFTW/Lions P O Box 297 Dunn Loring, VA 22027 Thanks again, Betty G

I do very little work. Dean is my angel. He takes good care of me every dayso, I spend a lot of time reading. I have just read Ronald Reagon's book of choice for high schools and universities. Sen Orrin Hatch also is reported to have wanted this book to be studied by students. Sen. Ed Kennedy said no and it was not given, even recomended in schools. I have to confess I never studied our constitution that I remember. This book, "The Miracle that Changed the World, The 5,000 Year Leap," authored by W. Cleon Skoursen, is the best explanation of our constitution you will ever find and it will be for your good to read it yourself.I am so thankful that the library found it for me. Our founding fathers should forever receive our thanks for their genius and patience to give us our;constitution and I pray it will aways be obeyed and upheld by our people. It must be kept alive always. If we ignore it. it will be the end of our country. As one example.Have you ever heard of the three-headed eagle on the U.S. Seal? It is three heads on one body and one set of wings. It represents the Peoples' Law, not "rulers' law," which is tyranny, nor "no law,"which is anarchy. The heads. one eye left, rep executive branch, the right, one eye, judicial, and the middle, two eyes, left, the House, and the right, Senate. It surprised me to read the middle head with the two eyes, "must see eye-to-eye on any piece of legislation before it can become law." Also there is only one neck so that the government could only work together and not against each other. The book continues all the way through explaining the principles to keep our freedoms alive. Really gives understanding how these men created a constitution like no other in the world, and that can keep us free, if our people and leaders will obey it in all of life, giving our Creator the credit. Take care, Betty G

Aren't you tired of bad news?
I am.  Now I read of more.  The alarm I am reading of now, is our electric power.
There are reports of new alarms of probably terrorist attacts putting us out of power, electric power.
Makes me wish I could live in a warmer climate.
Wisconsin is not known for warm winters!

Now, I know God is in control and I often wonder what He has in mind for us.
Reading "The Harbinger" I didn't get the idea that all will be goodness for the country.  If the people making all the decisions will obey God's rules and follow His Word naybe things will change.  The book is Isaiah 9 and and is really mindboggling.
I might read it again.  Right now all this going over the cliff talk, is not good news.

We can pray about this but at the same  time we must accept God's decision.
We must remember God Loves Us, He always will, and trust Him and He will take care of everything.

Sorry. I get so down in spirit.  I hope you get up in hope and give me some good news.

Take care,
Betty G
