I must give you this correction before too much time elapses.
Peg sent a comment right away pointing out that isn't weeks that Dean will see Dr. Heth again, it is three months, that means after Christmas. Peg goes with Dean for support.
That sounds better doesn't it!  So he will watch for any problems like bleeding.  We aren't expecting any but he was told to watch.

We are still and will continue to thank God for his healing and hope you do too. So thank you.

God is good,

Dean called from the doctor's office about 1 p.m.
He was expecting to get surgery, but instead he received the news there is no cancer in the bladder, it is clear!

I am thanking you if you prayed and thank God when you did for what He did.  I want you to thank Him too.

Dean will see the doctor in three weeks.  In the meantime he will be living.  He will see Matt's wedding in October.  The kids want him to go with them and they are now wondering who will stay with me.  I tell them I will be fine, so we will see if they will let me stay alone. They do worry.

So, praise God for Dean's healing.  He deserves it and God knows it.  Dean is a loving person, he loves people, he loves God, and Jesus, and His Word,  and he loves church, he never fusses about taking care of me, so many good things to love about Dean.

I repeat he deserves living.

God is good,

Dean made another visit to the doctor.  Everything looks good, no cancer at all.  He has meds to take for a few weeks, then when swelling goes down from today's tests, he will get injections for more weeks, at one a week.
But Dr. Heth was encouraged.  Everything is going great   And I must say we are happy  with Dr. Heth as the doctor!

It's all good news,

I had known all about God and Jesus and just about all of the Bible, all my growing-up years, spending all my waking hours in church with all its activities, but I didn't know I wasn't really a Christian.
So, I was nearly 52 years old when I surrended myself to God and really became a Christian in October, 1977.

So, I want to write about becoming a Christian for anyone who is interested.
This if from one of my cookbooks, the Bible tells us that only one thing separates us from God, and that is sin.
God is holy and perfect, and sin is like a giant wall which separates us from Him.
Until that wall is torn down, we can never hope to know the living God in a personal way.  Meditation will not take it away and neither will good deeds - for they cannot erase  sin.  The wall can be torn down in only one way, if God does it.
And that is what happened in Jesus Christ!  He was God in human flesh, sent from Heaven for one purpose, to take away our sins by His sacrificial death on the cross.
Christ was God's appointed means to bring us salvation, and that is why the Bible says that "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven given to man by which we must be saved." (Acts4:12)- Billy Graham

THIS IS  GOD'S  PLAN - also in one of my cookbooks, (I printed four books.)

All have sinned. "There is none righteous, no not one." Romans 3:10
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."  Romans 3:23.

The penalty for sin is death.
"For the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23a.

Christ has paid the penalty for sin.
"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."  Romans 5:8.

The gift of God is eternal life.
:"But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."  Romans 6:23b.

And remember Jesus Christ is just a prayer away.

This just appeared in a newspaper today.

"It's not hard to meet expenses. they're everywhere!"

I have found this is true.

This came from a friend but it startled me.

In 1952
President Truman established one day a year as a
National Day of Prayer.

In 1988 President
Reagan designated the First Thursday in May in each year as the
National Day of Prayer.

In 2007 (then) Presidential Candidate Barack Obama declared that the USA "Was no longer a Christian nation."

This year President Obama canceled the 21st annual National Day of Prayer ceremony at the White House under the ruse of "not wanting to offend anyone."

BUT......on September 25, 2009, from 4 AM until 7 PM
a National Day of Prayer
was held on Capitol Hill, beside the White Hiouse.

There were over 50,000 Muslims in D.C. that day.
He prays with the Muslims!

I Guess it Doesn't Matter if "Christians" are offended by this event -
We obviously don't count as "anyone" anymore.

The direction this country is headed should strike fear in the heart of every Christian, especially knowing that the Muslim
religion believes that if Christians cannot be converted, they should be annihilated.

This is not a Rumor!  website

I hoped this was a rumor.

Remember reading about an oil pipeline we needed for oil from Canada?  We saw jobs in it but Obama refused to allow it.
Well, now Canada is recruiting our veterans for a long list of positions in Canada, with many paying 30% more than it would be in the US.
VetJobs partly owned by the VFW is aiding out vets in this.
If you are a vet looking for work this is a great help for you.

Now, why didn't Obama offer this pipeline in the US?  I really don't understand.

I  got pretty upset over a letter with headlines saying "Be a Muslin in public schools.  High Court approves."

Now. that should scare anyone with kids in schools.
I read today that it is fiction.  BUT only partly.  Islam is taught, discussed, hanging a banner declaring Allah is one and only God, taught of praying.  And all this and more has brought parents out to fight it.

There is a Council on Islamic Education which carefully scrutinizes public school textbooks around the nation and lobbies for more pro-Islam language studies.  And they are successful evidentally.  That is not fiction.
In Georgia, a teacher found his student learning about Islam polygamy.  That is not fiction.

There have been,in Florida, instances where Islam was favored over Christianity and Judaism.  That is not fiction.

Christians do not have any freedom, at any age in school, and that is not fiction.

Dean was to see the doctor yesterday but the doctor got held up in surgery.
So the nurse called today with a new appointment which means he will be having the surgery in his bladder again in a couple weeks.
He did get the lab test yesterday and he is still bleeding which is from the tumors.
He isn't upset, just sorry it will take longer.  He feels fine and keeps busy.
We wanted to move the bookcases from our bedroom into the guest room and the office, but I got up late, and my hope for work just disappeared.  And believe me, my books are work to move!
I'm glad the conventions are over.  Parts of the Democrat doings were really upsetting but I did watch a lot of it.  Now I am sorry I did!

Take care,
Betty G
