Seems like all I ever get done is sort through papers and the like. BUT now it is sort with the hope of selling our house and moving.
Seems like I have read more this winter that I have in my whole life, and tossed most of it to clear out the house.

Something is always waiting in the clutter of stuff to come to light and I have to remember it for my own good. I am putting some of it on the computer and throwing the loose papers away.

Read it if you like, a lot of it is worth reading and keeping.
Here goes.

Prayer for the morning.
Father, I don't know what this day holds for me. I hope it is laughter and joy, but I know it may be pain and suffering or hurt and humiliation.
But whatever it is, teach me to accept it the way Christ Jesus did.
Your will be done.
Kids today learn a lot about getting to the moon, but very little about getting to Heaven.
It isn't so much how busy you are but why you are busy.
The bee is praised.
The mosquito is swatted.
You know you are getting old when you stoop to tie your shoes and wonder what else you can do while you're down there.
"I have a tender reliance on the mercy of the Almighty, through the merits of the Lord Jesus Christ.
"I am a sinner. I look to Him for mercy, pray for me."
-Alexander Hamilton's last dying words. July 12, 1804.
Sin has to be paid for.
Jesus Christ has paid the penalty for sin.
Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth His love for us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Our home is just a little house, but God knows where we live.
Dear God,
Did you mean for the giraffe to look like that or was it an accident?

This poem must surely have been written for me for it certainly helps me to think on it.

Take it all to Jesus
If you're always in a dither
with far too much to do,
If your life's a constant hassle
and just too much for you.
If you're plagued and vexed with worries
and life's more than you can bear.
Why not take it all to Jesus,
silently in prayer?
He'll comfort, rest, and soothe you.
He'll help you to unwind,
and as an added bonus,
He'll give you peace of mind."

I can vouch for these words, God will do it all with love.

I probably have lots of these that I may get printed so I can always have them as helps.
I am a pack rat, a clutter nut, and anything else that comes to mind.
I have to clean out stuff, assisted living places may not have room for all the clutter this pack rat tries to keep.
Now, I do ask for prayer, asking God to sell our house and find the right place for us, and for continued happiness to live for Him, and to be of service for Him.

Thank you,
Betty G
