FAVORITE NEWSPAPER COMICS

Our daily has a full page of comics daily and four pages on Sunday. Some aren't funny to me, so I only read half the page of the dailies.

I have some favorites. Peanuts are first of course. Then there are Tundra, Blondie, Beetle Bailey, Pickles, Born Loser, Dennis the Menace, and Pearls Before Swine.

On Pearls today Mouse is asking, "What came first, the chicken or the egg?"
Pig's reply, "Were they racing?"
Mouse, "No, they weren't racing."
Pig, "Good thing, cause an egg without feet has no chance in a foot race."
Mouse, "Perhaps we should be quiet now."
Pig, "Of course if it was a boneless chicken all bets are off cause that poor guy would be stumbling around like a drunken sailor."

Maybe no one else laughed, but I did, out loud!!

Now, what other favorites do you people have?

WONDERING

Our living room windows face south and the sun brings life in all day, all winter, and it is wonderful. Dean and I have recliners to catch it, makes us lazy, but we love it.

Out the windows I see lots of snow and temperatures here have been below zero for quite a while, until today, it is already 40 above and its only noon.

I am wondering, why some trees are green and bushy all the time, no matter how cold or hot, and others like these oaks look dead until warm weather. Why are they made this way? I can see both out our windows.

Another question I have, why are some areas in this world warm and sunny, and others cold and snowy like Wisconsin?

My biggest question, why aren't we living in one of those warm spots?

Who knows?
